Sunday 21st February - Nutts Corner Motorsport Centre, Belfast, hosted the penultimate round of the RSA Winter Series and bosted a 22 strong grid of motorcycle engined Crosskart machines. As ever the competition was fierce in both Class 9 and 10 with all drivers being fit to compete for the win. Once again Speedcar proved themselves as the class of the field taking victory in both the 600cc and 750cc classes. Chris Quinn claimed the top spot on the podium once again with Danny Ferguson closely behind in the class for 600cc machines. Quinn claimed the win by just 0.3 seconds at the end of 7 stages, thus extending his lead and inching him ever closer to the championship honours and securing a Speedcar 1,2. In the class for 750cc machines, Terry McKay, in his Speedcar Xtrem demonstrated his talent by winning class 10 by a margin of just under 10 seconds keeping him in contention for the championship title. This builds up to a hotly contested final round at Aghadowey Race Circuit where the bid for the series win will go down to the wire with Speedcar looking favourites to take victory in both the 600cc and 750cc classes.
