What is the minimum age for participation in this event?The minimum entry age for this event is 17. Competitors close to this age should bring some form of confirmation of age for inspection on the day. Back to TopWhat days and times do you run this event?We can run this event at our Bluestone venue on any weekday/ weekday evening or Saturday/ Saturday evening. This is subject to availability and weather conditions. additionally, due to the outdoor nature of this event, we will only make available times within daylight hours. Back to TopCan you just turn up at the track?We do not recommend that you just "turn up" at our venue. We do not offer "arrive and drive" format events. All events must be pre-booked in advance. Additionally, as we are not based at our Bluestone venue, we cannot guarantee that it will be open! Spectators are welcome, but should be considerate of the strict safety rules which are in place for their safety and competitors safety, as well as verbal instructions from our staff. Bear in mind that once you enter the premises, you may have to stay until the event has finished! Back to TopDo you do discounts for larger groups?We keep our prices comparably low partly by running larger groups of people, therefore the prices quoted are standard for groups of between approximately 15 and 36 people. If you have a smaller group, we may be able to accommodate you along with another smaller group. If you have a larger group or would like information on a corporate event, please contact us. Back to TopWhat is the minimum booking number for this event?The usual minimum booking number for this event is 15 people, however smaller groups may be joined together to form a larger total booking. Back to TopHow do I book an event?You can book and event by contacting us. You should have a few dates in mind, and we will confirm with you if these dates are available, or if not, suggest other dates which are. Back to TopAre there prizes for the winners?As this event is a Grand Prix format, the first three drivers across the finish line in the final race will receive first second and third place trophies. What happens if I damage the vehicle? It depends how you damage the vehicle! We accept that in a high pressure racing environment accidents can happen. If the vehicle is damaged by genuine accident, we will do our best to rectify the damage where necessary. If the damage however is caused after repeated warnings, we may use whatever means, whether mathematically or physically, to demote the competitor by one or more finishing positions in the race, disqualify the driver from the race, or in the worst case, disqualify the driver from the remainder of the event. The decision of the action necessary lies with the member of staff present at that time, and is not negotiable. Unfortunately we no longer cater for anyone under the age of 17. We advise you check the Yellow Pages for other Karting centres in your area. Can you run an event at another location? We can provide Karting events on suitable land anywhere in Ireland. By suitable land we mean a fairly level field at least the size of 2 football pitches. We can do this for corporate events or for community festivals etc. Please contact us for further information and prices.
