INTRODUCTION

Rallykarting is one of the latest forms of leisure motor sport in Ireland and its only available at Alltrak Rallysport. It has proved very popular for individuals and groups who want to experience the thrill and excitement of close competitive racing on a demanding and challenging off road racing circuit.

RACE MACHINES

We provide racing only for adult competitors.

Drivers race in identically prepared Alltrak XR 390 Rally Karts. Alltrak Karts are manufactured by ourselves and are built to the highest quality and design specification for maximum performance and safety. The 390 cc adult race machine is capable of speeds of up to 50 m.p.h. and to ensure total driver safety each Rallykart has a full roll cage, bucket seat and full body safety harness. They are specifically designed so that driving familiarity by both men and women is achieved very quickly.

All machines are fitted with protective bodywork and windscreen to provide extra protection and driver comfort in wet and muddy conditions

RACE EVENT INFORMATION

We provide race events for individuals and party groups and exclusive group bookings can be made for 15-36 people (please note minimum booking numbers apply on specific days). Race events last for three to four hours and can be organised where possible to suit specific requirements (start time, etc). Racing is available during weekdays, evenings (light permitting) and Saturdays.

Individuals and small groups e.g. stag and hen parties are also very welcome and they will race together with other people and similar smaller groups in open events.

RACE FORMATS AVAILABLE

RACE: All competitors race in one practice, a series of heats and in a Pre Final and the top five qualifiers race in the "Super Final". Trophies are awarded to first, second and third place winners in the Super Final.

RALLY: Individuals or teams compete in a series of timed runs against the clock. The winners are those with the quickest stage times. We use this type of format mainly during wintertime and on tour.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING

Helmets, gloves and race suits are provided and it is recommended that competitors come in old casual clothes and bring a change of shoes.

ENTRY FEE

The cost for competitors is £35. A deposit of £10 per driver will be required to confirm the race booking.

RACE VOUCHERS

Race vouchers are available for 17 years and older and cost £35 and these make an ideal present and entitle the recipient to take part in a Full Race Event lasting 2.5-3.5 hours competing with at least 15 other drivers.

CIRCUIT INFORMATION

Our Race Circuit has a specially prepared shale surface which lends itself well to exciting and challenging machine control.

The Rallykarts will slide on the loose top of the track and competitors will quickly learn to control and correct ‘power slides’ and ‘tail drifts’.

There are permanent male and female toilet facilities and we can provide a marquee, food, refreshments and other facilities on request.

The theme of our events are "serious fun" where competitors get a chance to enjoy a thrilling challenging drive similar to driving a Rallycross or Rally Car. Everyone is treated as a serious competitor and they experience the enjoyment associated with competitive racing in an outdoor environment.
